The journey to the lodge is part of the experience. Leaving the city behind, guests travel along the Amazon into an increasingly natural landscape of river channels, forest, small communities and wildlife habitat. From Selva Ecolodge, we explore the Amazon River and nearby rainforest and waterways, combining river excursions, jungle walks, wildlife observation, birdwatching, fishing and other activities according to the selected program, season and local conditions. This location allows our guests to experience the Amazon beyond the city while remaining within practical river access of Iquitos — an ideal base for stays ranging from short 2-day introductions to longer rainforest adventures.
